This April, Welsh rugby fans will come together at Principality Stadium to celebrate the 10th anniversary of Judgement Day – JDX 2025.
The iconic double-header event, the longest professional club event in Wales which showcases the best of Welsh professional club rugby returns to Principality Stadium as the Ospreys face Cardiff and the Dragons take on the Scarlets in back-to-back, high-stakes match-ups on Saturday, April 19.
The announcement comes off the back of a series of close and competitive clashes over the festive season. It’s an opportunity for Welsh rugby fans to unite as one, and get behind their team in a season where every point counts.

Tickets go on sale to the general public on Wednesday, January 22 from 10am. Season ticket holders will be contacted by their clubs on how to secure their tickets. A limited availability Early Bird offer in which the first 5,000 seats in the lower tier can be purchased at £10, representing amazing value to watch two fixtures on one ticket.
JDX 2025 is more than a rugby event; it’s a celebration of Welsh rugby culture and we’re ensuring everyone feels part of this historic occasion. Which is why, once again, special concession prices for under 18s, over-60s and students will be available at a 50% discount against category A and B tickets (concessions not available against Early Bird offer).
Community sits at the heart of every professional club and this year, each home club (Ospreys and Dragons RFC) have launched a once in a lifetime opportunity for junior clubs. Junior clubs that have sold the most tickets to JDX 2025 will be given the chance to form the Guard of Honour position at each match.
At each match the playing teams will also offer as part of a joint initiative the opportunity for junior teams to become flag bearers around the pitch where they will parade and support the teams as they enter the stadium bowl. All children who take part will be offered a complimentary ticket, with their parents, guardians and coaches having a right to buy who can proudly watch their junior teams represent their professional clubs at the home of Welsh rugby.
Scarlets head coach Dwayne Peel said: “Judgement Day is always a great occasion and an important day for Welsh rugby to showcase the best of our professional game.
“Being back at the Principality Stadium adds a bit of extra spice to the day and it will be a fantastic experience for our young group, particularly those who have not played at the stadium before.
“We have had some real battles with the Dragons on Judgement Day in recent years and are expecting another intense Welsh derby, especially with every point crucial in terms of the race for the URC play-offs.”
