Australia scrum-half Ryan Lonergan will lead an international studded Barbarians side to take on the Scarlets at Parc y Scarlets on Saturday (14:30).
Lonergan partners Wallaby great James O’Connor in a team that includes 12 full internationals from either Australia or Japan.
Many of the squad are on standby for the Rugby World Cup in France and have been in sensational form so far on tour, sweeping aside Northampton Saints (48-12) and Bristol Bears (52-26).
Former Scarlets Rob Evans and Aaron Shingler are both named among the replacements.
Scarlets head coach Dwayne Peel said: “The Barbarians have had good wins against Northampton and a good Bristol side last week. They are going to be a big challenge, they have quality players who will have half an eye on a World Cup call.
“They also have a strong coaching group over with them so it is a good test for us first up.”
