Head coach Dwayne Peel is looking forward to another Sea of Scarlet greeting his players at the Arms Park on Saturday afternoon.
Scarlets take on Cardiff in a big BKT United Rugby Championship Welsh derby, with the Scarlets fans set to be out in force once again in the Welsh capital.
“The last two times we have been up there we have had a real good away following,” said the former Wales and British & Irish Lions scrum-half.
“The stand opposite the tunnel there has been full of red for the last couple of seasons, so I look forward to that.
“That travelling support can make a huge difference. We have to put in a performance that they are proud of.
“I want us to throw the ball about and I want us to go and play and express ourselves.
“I enjoy going to the Arms Park. It’s a great place to play when it’s full.
“The crowd are right on top of you and it’s a good atmosphere. It’s loud and you get a real buzz there.
“We actually won the league there in 2002. That is probably my favourite memory of the ground.
“There have been some good, entertaining games over the years. It’s going to be a good occasion, I am sure.”
