As part of Carmarthen Quins’ 150-year celebrations, Scarlets will take on the Quins at Carmarthen Park in a pre-season match on Saturday, August 31 (14:30).

The clash will kick-off a three-game schedule ahead of the 2024-25 United Rugby Championship campaign, with fixtures away to Leicester Tigers (September 7) and Saracens (September 13) to follow before the URC opener against Benetton.

The match will give supporters an opportunity to see many of the bright young talents coming through the Scarlets pathway as well as some new faces who have come on board this season.

The Scarlets last played in Carmarthen in 2018 when they took on Pat Lam’s Bristol Bears in an August friendly that saw the home side run out 28-19 winners thanks to two tries from Clayton Blommetjies, one from Tomi Lewis and a penalty try. Dan Jones landed three conversions on his home patch.

The Quins will be warming up for their Super Rygbi Cymru campaign, which begins at home to Swansea on September 14.

The Quins have a hospitality offer for the game at £34 per person which includes a pre-match two-course hot meal, two drinks, entry to the park and grandstand, a matchday programme and post-match hot snack of sausage and chips. Any supporter interested should contact Dorian Taylor on 07789 051510.
