Forwards Rob Evans and Aaron Shingler have been released from the Wales camp to feature for Scarlets in Saturday’s crucial Guinness PRO14 clash with Edinburgh on Saturday.
The pair are among seven players who will be in regional action this weekend before linking back up with the national squad ahead of the third round Six Nations clash with France.
Speaking to the media prior to his side’s return to PRO14 action, Scarlets head coach Brad Mooar said: “There has been great energy built during the week and you can see it from the conversations that are being had off the field and how we have trained on it.
“This is a really exciting period for us, two home games (Edinburgh & Southern Kings) then Munster away.
“It is a really appetising game welcoming Edinburgh in a top-of-the-table clash and Dennis the Menace (Storm Dennis) is coming as well, we can’t wait.”
