Job Title: Scarlets Finance Assistant
Location: Parc y Scarlets, Pemberton Park, Llanelli
Contract Type: Part Time
Hours: 20 hours per week, plus Match Days/Events.

The Scarlets are looking for a Finance Assistant to support the finance team.
Role summary
Reporting directly to the Management Accountant, the Finance Assistant will be accountable for the efficient, timely and accurate control of accounts receivables as well as management of cash related processes. Knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, Google Sheets and Sage 50 is desirable.
Key responsibilities
The key responsibilities of the role are summarized as follows:
- Ensuring the timely and accurate receipt of monies owed to the company
- The completion of timely and accurate reporting of aged and overdue debtors
- Preparation of all cash floats for match days & events
- Reconciliation of pre & post event cash requirements and banking
- Liaise with other departments on monthly invoicing/schedules
- Nominal accounts reconciliation
- Posting of daily/weekly bank and banking
- Petty cash reconciliation
- Occasional Payroll and purchasing duties to cover absence and annual leave
- Other financial duties when required
Qualifications / Experience
- Strong interpersonal skills, able to establish effective working relationships
- Attention to detail with high level of numeracy and literary competence
- Relevant experience working within an accounts department
- Eagerness to work within a fast-paced environment
