Job Title: Girls WRU/Scarlets Pathway Coach

Hours of Work: Casual

Responsible to: WRU Pathway Co-ordinator and Scarlets Pathway Manager

Role Summary

  • Deliver a programme focused on the Girls Player Development Framework
  • Support the WRU/Scarlets Talent ID strategy to maximise effective transitions

Job Role  

  • Plan and deliver weekly sessions in the Girls EPP programme
  • Develop the players in line with the programme objectives
  • Conduct assessment / Festival days to support benchmarking
  • Create an environment that supports player development

Skills and Education 

  • WRU Level 2 Coaching Award or working towards.
  • Understanding player centred coaching
  • Ability to communicate effectively with players and parents.
  • Commit to ongoing internal and external CPD opportunities.

Qualities and Attributes

  • Passion in player development, Talent ID and Talent Development
