Job Title: Boys WRU/Scarlets Pathway Coach
Hours of Work: Casual
Responsible to: WRU Pathway Co-ordinator and Scarlets Pathway Manager
Role Summary
- Deliver a programme focused on the Male Player Development framework
- Support the Scarlets Talent ID Strategy to maximise effective transitions
Job Role
- Plan and deliver weekly sessions for EPP and Dewar Shield
- Develop the players in line with the programme objectives.
- Conduct assessment / Festival days to support benchmarking.
- Create an environment that supports player development
Skills and Education
- WRU Level 2 Coaching Award or working towards.
- Understanding player centred coaching
- Ability to communicate effectively with players and parents.
- Commit to ongoing internal and external CPD opportunities
Qualities and Attributes
- Passion in Player Development, Talent ID and Talent Development
