Job Title: Boys WRU/Scarlets Pathway Coach

Hours of Work: Casual

Responsible to: WRU Pathway Co-ordinator and Scarlets Pathway Manager

Role Summary

  • Deliver a programme focused on the Male Player Development framework
  • Support the Scarlets Talent ID Strategy to maximise effective transitions

Job Role

  • Plan and deliver weekly sessions for EPP and Dewar Shield
  • Develop the players in line with the programme objectives.
  • Conduct assessment / Festival days to support benchmarking.
  • Create an environment that supports player development

Skills and Education

  • WRU Level 2 Coaching Award or working towards.
  • Understanding player centred coaching
  • Ability to communicate effectively with players and parents.
  • Commit to ongoing internal and external CPD opportunities

Qualities and Attributes

  • Passion in Player Development, Talent ID and Talent Development
